what's what?

Picking up where last years' platform shows left off...THE PLATFORM is returning to VOLUPTE.

If you have never been to or performed in a Platform show, then this is what all the fuss is about:

- 12 - 20 actors perform duologues
- Its a mixture of comedy, drama and new writing
- Attended by a live audience and invited industry guests
- We take care of everything, so you can focus on preparing a great piece to showcase your talent.

Everyone auditions and those selected will perform on MONDAY 9th APRIL.
Why it works:
- You get to try out new material with your scene partner or perform the scene you’ve always loved in front of a live audience
- We invite the industry guests and bribe them to come
with free drinks
- Everyone auditions so the show is a high standard.
- We make it easy for you by organising everything including; venue, promotion, a director
ticket sales, lighting, rehearsals, photography and we
follow up and tell you who came.
 - You get to work with like minded people & perform in a fabulous venue
- You get to party afterwards (Yipee!)

What we ask from you:
- A £50 fee per actor towards everything listed above (only if you are selected to be in the show…
not to audition)
- You give 100% - turn up on time, bring your own props and costumes, we want nothing but professionalism throughout the process.
- Invite your friends and family! ( An absolute must!)

The Platform is a place for actors that have trained or are
working professionally to perform for potential agents and
casting directors, experiment with new material and just
enjoy doing what they do best – performing.
