Freeview.
Auditions are to take place on the 24th February.
FEES £250 per day + £1000 buyout.
Must be very real performances, very conversational. Actors and non actors

Role: Michael Palin Type - Travel Journo
Description: Either male or female - Middle class Travel Journalist. Dry,
sly humor.
Role: Beautiful Bikini Clad Girl - Baywatch type (Female)
Description: 20-25 will be acting sexy in the shower - wearing a Bikini.
Slim, Attractive, Long hair, well proportioned.
Role: Mummsy Nurse (Female)
Description: 40-45 typical Midwife type. a full figure
Role: Unusual Looking blokes (Male)
Description: Blokes in their late 20's early 30's. real middle England
Blokes - sort of guys that might turn up as cops in the Bill - should have
strong character faces

Description: Boys and Girls 18-21 - (should look 15-20) Hollyoaks types -

Role: Real Quirky, goofy characters
Description: I need a group of Quirky adults ranging from 20-60. Socially
awkward, odd looking folk. Could be tall and skinny, short and fat or just
plane weird. BUT it is as much about their real character as about their
appearance.

Role: a 'proper' Shakespearean Actor (Male)
Description: 30-65. Your Typical Shakespearean Luvie. Hamlet to
Lear.Resonant voice and strong presence.
Role: Dallas Woman (Female)
Description: 50's. Big Hair, straight off the set of Dallas - she doesn't
have to have the US accent but would love it if she has! Big Haired, big
personality Business woman
Role: Yummy Mummy - Davina McCall Type (Female)
Description: 25-35. Great hair, soft, attractive looks. Your gorgeous young
mother.
Role: Selection of Foreigners
Description: Male and Female 30-60 - Must speak English with a STRONG
authentic foreign accent and their own tongue with a native accent. -
Russians, French, Germans and whatever else you're got - some eastern
Europeans and some Africans too. MUST HAVE AUTHENTIC, STRONG FOREIGN
ACCENTS
Role: Japanese/Korean Teenagers
Description: to play 16-20 - Geeky Manga comic loving Teenagers with
authentic accents please.
Role: Old Bloke who thinks he's COLUMBO (Male)
Description: 50-70 YEARS OLD. Old Bloke who thinks he's the 1970's cop
character Columbo. He smokes a cigar and wears a raincoat and does the
whole
COLUMBO schtick!
Role: Crazy Dancers
Description: 25-70.People who can do wild, crazy, idiosyncratic dance
moves.
Preferably hip shaking, hula hula type dancing. bthe wilder and funnier the
better. But still need to be good dancers!
Role: Celebrity Chef type (Male)
Description: Think Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsey, Hugh Fernly Whittingstal
and
Rick Stein too. The important thing is that they can talk fluently and
passionately about food and cooking.
Role: South Park Kids
Description: 10-12. I need kids that can do great impersonations of the
South Park Characters, Cartman and all.
Role: Girl 6-8 Ballet Dancer (Female)
Description: 6-8 years old. Excellent Ballet Dancer. Cute as a button -
Could also be Quirky Cute.
Role: Karate Champ Boy (Male)
Description: 8-10 year old Boy that is excellent at Karate or another
Martial art.
Role: The Streaker (Male)
Description: Man 28-45. He has been a streaker for 10 years but no one has
ever seen him before because he is only 8 inches high. now with HD digital
TV he is getting noticed. He has a long beard that covers his 'bits' -
there
is a bit of Forrest Gump (when he's running - with the beard) about his
appearance. - need a very dry matter of fact performance -
WOULD LIKE TO SEE COMEDIANS FOR THIS - STAND UP OR SKETCH - and other
natural low key performances.

Stage One is delighted to announce a new investment programme called the START UP FUND for new commercial theatre producers. This scheme is designed to give the very best graduate producers who have already completed a Stage One training programme (Workshop, Bursary and/or Apprenticeship) a kick-start with one of their first West End or Commercial Touring Productions. The Start-Up investment will be for up to £25,000 (capped at 15% of the capitalisation), will be solely credited to the applicant and must also be matched by an additional £25,000 investment raised by the applicant. (Terms and Conditions apply). The scheme will also provide successful applicants with a mentor to offer advice plus potential other support in kind e.g. office space, marketing support, legal advice. We plan to invest in four individuals per annum and want to help launch the careers of the next generation of commercial producers. When the funds have been spent, the scheme will close for applications until the start of the next cycle.

The John Brabourne Young Filmmaker Award sponsored by Kodak
AWARD: Kodak are offering 15 rolls of 16mm Kodak film for the shooting of a short film.
VALUE: £1,000
APPLICANTS: We are looking for talented directors who have a great short film to shoot. Film stock must be put towards an interesting and clever short film, preferably by a young director who already has some experience of shooting on film. UK Film Council John Brabourne Award
This award carries a maximum value of £10,000 and is a match funded award between the UK Film Council and the CTBF.
The aim of this award is to support a talented individual to achieve their goal in film. This person will be on the cusp of furthering their career and expanding their experience through a significant opportunity that is in their grasp but not yet realised. In particular, this award aims to broaden the social, economic and cultural mix of the film industry.
